In our house we definitely have an umbrella problem as we are constantly re-buying them as we lose them in a car or closet. I purchased this one for vacation because of the size and travel case. What was different about this umbrella is it easily fits in my purse. I was so surprised with not only the strength of the umbrella when opened, but also how easy it was to get back into the travel case. One other callout for this little umbrella is how well it protected both me and my son in the rain. I was amazed how large the coverage was for such a little umbrella. If you’re looking for something to keep in a small bag that delivers great rain protection, this is your umbrella.

I was surprised by the size when I first got it. It comes in a little zip case the size of a case for glasses (maybe slightly bigger), it could certainly double as one. The umbrella itself is small and a great size for travel. Good for in the car, in a bag, luggage, and probably a purse too. The case keeps it nice and compressed, also prevents it from cuts, tears, and poked holes. The handle on it is a bit on the small side and seems to be there more so to prevent a sharp end on the umbrella. It’s still fairly comfortable to hold by the metal body. Honestly, I’ve never held a small umbrella by the handle now that I think about it. The mechanisms to open and close all seem to be good quality. I don’t think I would trust the umbrella itself to hold well on a very windy/stormy day in fear of blowing inside out. I posted pictures of the item and will update my review if I find anything stellar or defective. This product was provided at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.
