Prepare Your Artwork for Production
Our design support helps you prepare artwork for the selected umbrella model. We review panel layouts, logo dimensions, colour references, seam placement, sleeves and other printed details before sampling.

Use the Correct Umbrella Template
Templates vary with the frame, canopy shape and construction. Visit our umbrella template page, then confirm the correct version with us before completing the artwork.
Keep the cut line, seam allowance and safe area visible in your working file. Ask for separate templates for the sleeve, strap or other accessories when needed. You can request a template at info@hfumbrella.com.
Send Us Usable Artwork Files
- Logos: editable AI, CDR or vector PDF files are preferred.
- Photographs and full-panel artwork: supply images at the final print size, normally at least 200 DPI.
- Colours: include Pantone C references and identify colour-critical areas.
- Instructions: label outside, inside, panel positions and the direction of text.
If only a low-resolution preview is available, send it for assessment first. Enlarging a small image does not restore missing detail.
Plan for Seams and Panel Joins
Umbrella canopies are assembled from panels. Keep small text and important logo details inside the safe area shown on the template. If artwork continues across several panels, identify the joins that matter most so they can be reviewed during sampling.
Check the appearance of the design both open and closed. A repeated pattern, a large photograph and a small panel logo need different layout decisions. Review the sleeve and closing strap as part of the same design.
Match the Artwork to the Printing Method
Screen-printing setup depends on details such as the colours, print positions and artwork. Digital printing has different setup and production requirements. An eight-panel design does not automatically mean eight sets of printing screens.

Approve Colour and Finish on a Sample
A digital mock-up shows placement and proportions. Fabric, ink, coating and lighting affect the finished appearance, so use a physical sample or colour reference when accuracy matters. Confirm whether the sample uses the same fabric and printing process as the planned bulk order.

Request an Artwork Review
Send the umbrella model or intended use, quantity per design, artwork files, colour references and required arrival date. Tell us which details matter most. We will review the files and explain any adjustments needed before sampling.
