HF Umbrella manufactures custom art umbrellas for museums, galleries, artists, cultural institutions and premium retail collections. We use digital dye-sublimation and carefully planned panel layouts to reproduce detailed artwork across suitable umbrella fabrics. Colour, seam placement and print coverage are reviewed during sampling before bulk production.

Selected styles start from 25 pieces. Custom samples normally take 3–5 days, and bulk production normally takes 10–20 days after sample approval, depending on the umbrella construction, printing and packaging.

The Canvas (300T Pongee)

For art-led projects, we recommend 300T high-density pongee when the design requires fine detail and a smooth, premium finish. The tighter weave provides a more consistent surface for detailed digital printing than standard promotional fabrics.

Digital dye-sublimation printing

The Technology (Digital Dye Sublimation)

We don't just print on the fabric; we infuse color into it. Our Digital Dye Sublimation process turns ink into gas, bonding it with the fabric fibers. The result is strong colour saturation with a soft fabric feel. Final colour is checked against the approved artwork or physical colour reference before production.

An umbrella has 8 panels, but art should have no boundaries. Our artwork team maps the design across the umbrella panels and checks important details near seams, edges and the centre cap before sampling.

Art Umbrellas FAQs

How do you manage colour accuracy for original artwork?

We review the supplied artwork and can match against Pantone targets or physical colour references where appropriate. A printed sample is recommended because screen colours, fabric and printing methods can produce small differences.

How durable is the artwork in normal use?

Dye-sublimation bonds the colour with suitable polyester fabric and provides good durability for normal umbrella use. Long-term appearance still depends on UV exposure, storage and care, so we avoid absolute guarantees about fading.

Do you offer samples before bulk production?

Yes. A custom sample normally takes 3–5 days after the artwork and specifications are confirmed, allowing you to review colour, panel layout, construction and finish before bulk production.
