Custom Umbrella Manufacturing Process

1. Specification and Artwork Review

Before material preparation, we confirm the intended use, size, frame, fabric, colours, printing, packaging, quantity, destination and required date. Artwork is checked for resolution, panel joins, orientation and printable area.

2. Material and Component Preparation

Canopy fabric, frame, shaft, ribs, handle and accessories are selected against the approved specification. Material availability and project-specific risks are reviewed before production.

3. Printing and Colour Approval

Screen printing is normally used for clean spot-colour logos. Digital or sublimation printing is suitable for detailed artwork and full-canopy designs. The correct method depends on the fabric, colour, artwork and quantity.

4. Taglio del pannello

Printed or solid-colour fabric is cut into canopy panels using the approved pattern. Panel direction, placement and seam allowance are checked before sewing.

5. Canopy Sewing

Edges, panels, top opening, strap and other fabric components are sewn in sequence. Operators check alignment, tension and finishing while the canopy is assembled.

6. Assemblaggio del telaio

The finished canopy is fitted to the confirmed frame. Tips, top cap, runner, shaft, ribs and handle are assembled according to the model and opening mechanism.

7. In-Process and Final Inspection

We check appearance, printing, dimensions, opening and closing, stitching, components and packing against the approved requirements. Additional cycle, rain, wind, salt-spray, colourfastness or third-party testing can be arranged when written into the order specification.

8. Imballaggio e spedizione

Umbrellas are folded, placed into the approved sleeve or packaging and packed into export cartons. Shipping documents and routing are confirmed according to the destination and agreed delivery terms.

Quality Control Is Defined Before Production

Quality is easier to control when the buyer and factory agree on measurable requirements before bulk production. The approved sample, signed artwork and confirmed specification form the working reference.

From Existing Frame to Custom Development

Most projects begin with a proven umbrella frame and customise the canopy, colours, handle and packaging. Projects requiring a new handle, mechanism, unusual canopy shape or other structural change need additional engineering review, prototypes, tooling and testing.

Do you manufacture every component in one building?

We manage the complete umbrella project and production process, while some fabrics, frames, components, finishes or specialist treatments may come from approved supply partners. Incoming materials are checked against the confirmed requirements.
